The company also unveils Human-State Interfaces (HSI), a new computing

paradigm that enables AI and software to understand and adapt to human

state.

MONTREAL, Canada — July 7, 2026 — Synheart today announced the launch

of Life, the world’s first Human-State AI Companion, introducing a new

approach to human-computer interaction where technology adapts to the

person using it—not just the commands they give.

For decades, computing has evolved through new interfaces: command lines,

graphical interfaces, touchscreens, voice, and conversational AI. Each

generation made technology easier to use, but all shared the same assumption:

the human adapts to the machine.

Synheart believes the next evolution reverses that relationship.

The company calls this new paradigm the Human-State Interface (HSI)—

technology capable of respectfully perceiving and responding to a person’s

cognitive and physiological state in real time. Life is the first consumer

application built on this vision.

Life helps people understand their own patterns by combining behavioral and

physiological signals into a private, on-device understanding of their Human

State.

Rather than focusing on isolated metrics such as heart rate, steps, or sleep, Life

surfaces patterns related to focus, stress, recovery, regulation, rhythm, and

The goal is not to tell users how to live.

It is to help them understand themselves.

Instead of wondering why a week felt unusually difficult or why concentration

A Privacy-First Approach to Human-State AI

Life was designed with privacy as a foundational principle.

The Synheart Keyboard observes how a person types—not what they type—

using anonymous behavioral characteristics such as typing rhythm, pauses,

cadence, and correction patterns. Message content, passwords, emails, and

personal text are never collected.

Life also integrates with supported wearables, including Apple Watch, Garmin,

Health Connect, and compatible Bluetooth heart-rate devices, combining

behavioral and physiological information into a richer understanding of Human

State.

All processing is performed on-device by default.

No account is required.

No internet connection is required.

Cloud synchronization is optional and enabled only with explicit user consent.

Meet Syni

Life also introduces Syni, a Human-State AI companion that allows users to

interact with their own data conversationally.

Instead of providing generic responses, Syni answers questions using patterns

learned from each user’s Human State.

Users can ask questions such as:

Why has my focus been lower this week?

When am I usually at my best?

Has my recovery changed recently?

Is today a good day to push, or should I recover?

Rather than replacing human judgment, Syni is designed to help people better

understand themselves through reflection grounded in their own data.

More Than a Consumer App

Life represents the first public demonstration of Synheart’s broader HumanState Interface platform.

Over the past nine months, the Synheart team developed an infrastructure for

inferring, representing, transmitting, and visualizing Human State. That

infrastructure includes open standards, developer tools, and software

development kits intended to help developers build applications that adapt to

people rather than expecting people to constantly adapt to software.

Potential applications include productivity software, AI assistants, education,

healthcare, gaming, enterprise systems, and other intelligent experiences

where understanding the user’s current state can improve interaction.
